Hmmm... seems Mitch is missing the point on a lot of different topics...
Mitch made a big deal during the campaign that the democratic administration didn't understand the agricultural needs of an agricultural state. It was imperative that Indiana Farmers act more like Big Business and less like Small Business.
Sure enough as soon as he took office, his administration started pushing consolidation of farms as the key to agriculture growth. This despite Purdue's belief that the next big profit center for agriculture is niche markets. Call me crazy, but I would believe Purdue's experts over a guy that has spent his career in Washington and sitting on corporate boards.
Finally I see someone in the Media caught up with this issue.
